Product tour

What Declario does, in the order you use it.

Most proposal tools stop at the moment you press send. Declario starts there. This tour follows one proposal: what you see once the client opens it, how it was built, what you do next, how it closes, where the events go, and who in your team may do what.

01See

Know when the client reads it, and what they read.

Every proposal is a link, so Declario can record what happens to it: when it is opened, how long each section is on screen, how far the client scrolls and whether they come back. Each event appears in your live activity feed and as an in-app notification as it happens.

For youYou stop guessing whether the proposal was read. You call when the client has just spent time on pricing, not three days later.

The engagement score, and where each point comes from

The score adds up four things the client did. It is plain arithmetic, capped at 100. It is not AI and it does not predict whether the client will buy; it tells you which proposal to look at first.

02Create

Build the proposal from blocks.

Start from a template or an empty page and add the blocks you need. AI drafting writes a first version of a block's text with Claude, from the block type, the proposal title, the client's name and any instructions you add. You edit it; nothing goes to the client until you send it.

For youA proposal that looks like your company, put together in the time it takes to decide what goes in it.

03Act

Do the next thing while it still matters.

When a client comes back, the proposal moves up among the hot signals on your dashboard. Follow-up sequences send the next email only when its condition is true, clients can ask questions on the proposal itself, and a manager can check a proposal before it goes out.

Follow-up sequence

Pro and up

Each step waits a number of days after sending and checks its condition first. If the client has already done what the condition rules out, the email is not sent.

Sample sequence
  1. Day 0Sent
  2. Day 1Email if not openedDid you receive our proposal?
  3. Day 3Email if opened, but no replyAny questions about the proposal?

Client comments

Every plan

The client can ask a question on the proposal page instead of in a separate email. You answer in the same thread.

Could the second phase start in March instead of April?

Yes. I will update the timeline and send you the new version today.

Approval workflow

Pro and up

A salesperson submits the proposal for approval. An admin or manager approves it, which sends it, or requests changes with a note, which returns it to draft. The person who submitted it is notified either way.

For youYour follow-up lands when the client is reading, and nobody on the team sends a proposal that was not meant to go.

04Close

Accepted, signed and kept on record.

The client accepts or declines on the proposal page. To accept, they sign by typing their name, and Declario stores an audit record of that signature. Once signed, the proposal can no longer be edited.

A typed-name electronic signature with an audit record. Whether it is enough for a given contract depends on your jurisdiction and the kind of agreement.

For youYou know exactly what was agreed and when, and every earlier version is still there if you need to show what changed.

Signed, step 4 of 4

The client can also decline, with an optional reason. Either answer reaches you as a notification.

Versions

Declario keeps versions of a proposal as it changes. Compare any two block by block and restore an earlier one; the current state is saved first, so a restore can be undone.

Download any proposal as a PDF from your workspace, for your records or for a client who needs a file.

05Connect

Send proposal events where your team already works.

Post events to a Slack channel, send signed webhooks to your own system, or keep HubSpot contacts and deals in step. Share proposals from your own domain.

06Control

Decide who can send what.

Every member has one of three roles. The rules below are the ones the server checks, not just what the interface shows.

Send directly when the workspace requires approvalYesYesThrough approval
Approve a proposal or request changesYesYesNo

Approval before sending

An admin can switch on one workspace setting: proposals must be approved before they are sent. With it on, a salesperson cannot send directly and submits the proposal for approval instead. The approval workflow is available from the Pro plan.

Adding members

An admin adds a member by the email address of their Declario account, so the person signs up first. Seats per plan: Starter 1 · Pro 3 · Agency 10.

Your client's side

People who open a proposal are not tracked with cookies. A visit is counted for as long as the page is open, and the IP address used for tracking is stored as a keyed hash. When a client signs, the IP address and browser are stored in the signature's audit record.

For youNew salespeople can build and send from day one, and you still decide which proposals need a second pair of eyes.

Send the next proposal with Declario.

Every workspace starts with a 14-day Pro trial. No card required.
