Getting started
From sign-up to your first sent proposal. Most people get through this in one sitting.
Create an account
Sign up with an email address and a password of at least 8 characters, or with your Google account.
If you sign up with email, Declario sends you a confirmation link. Open it to activate the account.
The trial
Every new workspace starts with a 14-day trial of the Pro plan. No card is needed.
The trial includes 10 AI drafting credits.
Custom domains need a paid subscription, so they are not part of the trial. See Billing for what happens when the trial ends.
Your workspace
Declario creates a workspace for you when you sign up and makes you its admin.
Before you reach the dashboard, a short setup asks for three things:
- Set up your workspace: your company name and, optionally, a link to your logo.
- Add your first client: company name, contact name and email. You can skip this step.
- Create your first proposal: give it a title.
You can skip to the dashboard at any point. Add teammates later, as described in Team.
Add a client
Every proposal belongs to a client. In Clients, add the company name, the contact's name and their email address; phone and tags are optional.
Already have a list? Import it from a CSV file.
Create a proposal
In Proposals, create a new proposal: give it a title, choose the client, and start from a blank page or one of your templates.
Declario opens it in the editor, where you build it from blocks. See Proposals.
Send it
When the proposal is ready, press Send in the editor. Declario then:
- marks the proposal as Sent;
- emails your client a link to it, with your email address as the reply-to;
- copies the link to your clipboard, so you can also share it yourself;
- starts a follow-up sequence, if you turned follow-ups on for this proposal.
Your client does not need an account to open the link. From the moment they open it, you can follow what happens, as described in Tracking.
Moving around
In the workspace, press ⌘ K on a Mac or Ctrl K elsewhere to open the command palette. From there you can start a new proposal, jump to a page or find a client.
